Our frequently asked questions:

How long does a course last?

The answer to this is that it depends on whether you already have any previous experience whether it be on a bike or just as a road user.  For DAS courses we offer a free sighting session so that we can see you ride to enable us to give you a more accurate idea of the cost.

How much will it cost?

Again, this will depend on previous experience, your dis-position (if you are a nervous beginner, it is likely to take you a little longer which will inevitably cost more).  Either way, we make sure you have the right amount of training at the correct cost for your needs.  The costs on our courses page give you a basic idea.

When can I book in?

This will depend on availability for both parties.  We are obviously busier during the summertime and on weekends but the more flexibility you have the quicker we are likely to be able to book you in.  We do our best to book you in as quickly as possible.

How do I pay?

We require a deposit for all of our courses to secure the day with the balance payable on the first day of training.  Both elements can be paid by either cash by dropping it off with myself directly or by bank transfer – I can provide bank details upon request.

How do I find you?

We are located close to Lincoln County Hospital.  If you proceed to the double mini roundabouts where Outer Circle meets Greetwell Road and Monks Road, take the road that leads out towards Cherry Willingham and we are just on the left around 100 metres from the mini roundabout.  We are located behind B&B Motorcycles showroom and next door to Rilmac Scaffolding.

Do you have parking available?

We do, there is a long lay-by that runs along the front of B&B Motorcycles showroom which provides enough parking for our needs.  Please do not park in front of the showroom but utilise the lay-by.

What are your opening hours?

We are open 7 days a week all year around apart from 2 weeks at christmas from around 8am until 4.30pm.  You can reach us by phone or email outside of these hours.

What do I need to bring?

  • Most importantly – a sense of humour!
  • Driving License
  • Theory Certificate (if applicable)
  • Packed Lunch (and water/drink in the summer)
  • Clothing – please be suitably dressed e.g. jeans and boots (we do have jackets, gloves & helmets that can be borrowed but you will require your own footwear so please be sensible)
